Hard Target (1993)

In the gritty streets of New Orleans, Chance Boudreaux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a skilled but down-on-his-luck Cajun drifter, crosses paths with Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler). Natasha has come to the city searching for her missing father, a homeless Vietnam veteran.

As Chance helps Natasha, they uncover a sinister plot orchestrated by Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen) and his right-hand man, Pik Van Cleef (Arnold Vosloo). Fouchon and Van Cleef run a deadly game, where they hunt homeless veterans for sport, offering wealthy clients the ultimate thrill of hunting human prey.

Determined to stop the sadistic hunts and find Natasha’s father, Chance uses his martial arts prowess and survival skills to confront the ruthless hunters. Along the way, they are aided by Detective Carmine Mitchell (Kasi Lemmons), who also seeks justice for the victims of Fouchon’s cruel game.

The film builds to a high-octane climax, with Chance using his knowledge of the bayou terrain to turn the tables on the hunters. In an explosive showdown, Chance faces off against Fouchon and Van Cleef in a battle of wits and brawn, ultimately bringing their twisted game to a violent end.
